There is real freedom that comes when we are able to separate our emotional responses from our circumstances.

Our default mode is to react to our environment and our brains are hardwired to always protect and help us survive. This is great for the caveman, where taking risks often meant life or death.

In modern society, these emotional security mechanisms hamper our growth. If we can allow our emotions to happen without them controlling us, we can push through, and that is where the empowerment comes!

We can look at the situation, our circumstances, and the result we failed to get, feel the failure, and still decide to push forward. Look at the problem, realize it's just math, alter the equation and try again.
